The Payne Family

One big (ok small) happy family. I love being a mom. There is nothing more rewarding in life than seeing your little one grow, and grow they do.

Bentley Scott Payne is only 2 and 1/2 months old and he is getting so big so fast. Cory and I just love talking to him and having him smile back at us. We are looking forward to the time when he he sleeps through the night, but until then, Cory and I take turns with the nightly feedings. Bentley is a very good baby. He is very alert and is always looking around. One thing he just loves is his swing. He would sit in it all day if I let him. For the first couple of weeks, Bentley went to work with his mom and dad, now he goes to my friend Becky's. I am so greatful that she can take him for me, however, I do miss him so much during the work week.

Cory is working with me at Rob Graham & Associates. He does the inital consultation with all our Estate Planning clients and prepares all of the documents. He also does the Guardianship work and Set Asides. He stays very busy. On top of work he is also going to school. He is currently enrolled at CSN and is taking Geogrophy, Math and Philosophy. Its amazing he still has time for his church calling as a Ward Missionary and his family. Its even more amazing that he has time for football. Go BYU!

As for me, I am working as a Legal Assistant/Office Manager/Marketing Director at Rob Graham & Associates. Right now I work 10-4 and make up the other hours at home when I have time. Spare time is somthing a new mom does not have alot of. It is definetely different than I expected being a mom. Harder than I thought, but much more fun than I ever imagined. I've always enjoyed the work environment and never thought that I would want to be a stay aat home mom. Now I can't wait for the time when I no longer have to work. But I try to make the best of things and enjoy the time I do get to spend with Cory and Bentley just doing the fun things.

    Hi Heather-

It's Wende! I got your blog from Stephanie. I swear it has been so long since I saw you, I was crying at your wedding pictures, you were a young girl, and now you are a mommy. I am sad we don't see you all much- especially when I see how much we are missing. I just wanted you to know I'll be checking in now and then and look forward to watching your little family grow on your blog- and hopefully in person to!

    Love-
    Cousin Wende
